Question:

I would appreciate advice on travel/mileage credit cards.  Capital One seems to be recommended but other comments would be appreciated.  I’ve just finished earning the miles on Mileage Plus for a trip I’m going to take , but it has a high annual fee and is limited to United (plus alliance).  My destinations will be Australia or Italy, so I need to be able to acquire big miles.  I don’t know the ins and outs of the various cards. It varies from country to country.  I’m guessing you’re not Australian or Italian, but there are 167 other countries you might be from and it’s hard to give advice without that piece of information.
